Handmade recycled paper in a subtle green color with varied flecks

Green green green, we decided to make a green, and started with some leftover Colorplan Imperial Blue, some Colorplan Citrine that got misprinted, and basic Lettra scraps. The result, >light lawn<, a delicate green tone that edges more grassy than minty. We may revisit this recipe to get a different hue later in the summer.

A silver handmade paper with flecks of white

An attempt at making New Pearl was made, but the beater went a little wonky and started grinding, which produced an aluminum oxide powder that quickly tinted the batch before we could halt the process. Fortunately, it created a lovely silvery gray that we’re calling >summer sidewalk<. around 170gsm, with white flecks and ink inclusions.

Handmade recycled paper in a subtle pink color with white flecks

This fall and winter we had a visiting printmaker from Poland visiting us at Reflex Letterpress, and she tried her hand at making some paper. She took plenty home with her, of course, but left enough for us to put up on the site here! We’re calling it Jasnorozowy, which means “light pink” in Polish (at least as far as Google Translate knows), as it’s a subtle shade of pink with white flecks in it. It comes in two flavors — one thicker, at 190 gsm, and one thinner at 115 gsm. Pick your preference, and enjoy!

A fun handmade paper that some people consider good enough to eat!

Mortadella is a warm pinky-red sheet with a bunch of fun fluorescent flecks and inclusions to make things interesting. It was made by my assistant Naomi, and we were going to come up with a very crafty name for it, but when I posted a preview on Instagram one of my followers thought it was a slice of mortadella sandwich meat as it scrolled by in her feed. So — nothing but the best cold cuts available here at process papers!
