Description
Iolanthe is an experiment I’ve been waiting on for a while; I have a small stack of Colorplan Amethyst that’s too dark to print on and not enough to do anything else with. So I blended it with the tons of Fluorescent White scraps I have ready to go.
This color was a 3:1 ratio, similar to the Mid Smoke blend, with a similar value. It’s definitely purple, but more red than I intended. This is because I thought it would be cool to put 40g of Colorplan Citrine in a blender and add it to the pulp, to get some fun yellow flecks. Well, the blender did its job too well., and while there are a few flecks visible, the yellow pulp basically just tinted the whole batch to a more red purple. But that’s quite alright, I think.
About 160gsm basis weight. Got some seconds, not bad paper, but just more variable than usual.
